He was born on Sept. 9, 1974, in Salem, a son of the late William and Nancy Hendricks Less. Craig was a graduate of South Range High School, and had worked as a self-employed plumber. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Wilson Less and four daughters, Madison, Logan, Ashlyn and Kayden Less. Also surviving is his sister, Amy Shope and his brother, Scott Less. A private family memorial service was held. Burial was at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Leetonia. Donations may be made to his children at: http://mk2.gofund.me/support-the-less-girls. Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 4105 N. Division St., Davenport. Burial will take place in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. The family will greet friends and family from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 N. Main St., Davenport with a prayer service being offered at 6:45 p.m. There will be an additional visitation Wednesday in the gathering space at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. John died Thursday, March 9, in Des Moines.John William Kivlin was born Sept. 13, 1969, in Davenport, a son of Ruth (Gray) and Charles M. “Charley” Kivlin. He earned a degree in accounting from the University of Iowa in 1995. He was united in marriage to Jennifer Gloviak on June 9, 2001, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Chicago. John owned and operated Kivlin Consolidated, doing tax and accounting work for small businesses.John cherished the time he was with his children, especially enjoying the opportunity to coach his boys as they started competing in sports. He had a passion for sports, particularly Chicago franchises and the Iowa Hawkeyes. John was passionate about all things rock and roll. He also took joy in spending time with his friends, whom he considered brothers.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gilda’s Club or a charity of your choice.
